I am B.C. Girl. It has been said that I am a travel fanatic. I’m also a writer. However, you won’t find “cascading sunlight” or anything “effervescent” here. This blog is about you. Not me. Do you really want to read all about my travel experiences or do you want to envision yours? Sure, I will try places for you and let you know what is worth your time. But don’t expect me to be the only one doing the travelling.
Okay, I know, I said that this is about you and not me. But maybe you want to know a little about me. Before I started this travel blog, I had travelled to Italy, Switzerland, France, England, Egypt, Alaska, and Florida. While I venture to a far off land every couple of years, in reality, I mostly travel in and around Beautiful British Columbia. Wherever the destination, I write with a British Columbian perspective.
I am outdoorsy and cheap. By cheap, of course I mean one of those lovely euphemisms such as frugal or thrifty. Most of my travelling until this point was done while I attended university. Even though I am done with all that, the budgeting spirit lives on. The more I save, the more thrills I can seek.
No more excuses. Suck up this wonderful life. Take it all in. Let B.C. Girl show you the way.
I’ve got ‘Joe Batt’s Arm’ on my bucket list, it’s in Newfoundland 🙂
Wow, and thanks to you, I do too! It looks like a place I could really wander around for hours. Let me know if there are other places that I simply must see in this life!
